Does Anyone know how to create Microsoft Excel Cell Fill Pattern in Adobe InDesign Table's Fill

Thanks in advance

Microsoft Excel > Format cell> Fill> Pattern Style>

75% Gray/ 50%Gray/25% Gray/12.5% Gray
(The Pattern style with a lot of dot inside the cell)
How can I create this style in Adobe InDesign Table's Fill

"a lot of dot" doesn't mean anything to me, but it's easy enough to fill
a table cell in ID with a percentage of black (or any color). Highlight
the cell, go to Window > Color, and move the slider to the percentage
you want (and you're not limited to 75, 50, 25, 12.5).

Now go to Window > Swatches, and see how you can create new colors, even
make yourself a color called 75% gray, if that makes it easier for you.
Highlight some cells in a table and choose a swatch.

Now go to Table > Table Options (and Cell Options) to see how you can
automate fills for alternating rows or columns in your table.

Still not sure what that means. Is that a CMYK breakdown? What are all those numbers? What do you mean by "lot of dots"? Can you post a screen shot showing the colour dialogue and how the cell looks? Better: Post a link to a PDF of that Excel file so we can see exactly how that cell's colour/pattern prints. I suspect that what you think is a patterns is actually a solid colour.

If you have excel
go to
Format>
Cells>
Patterns>
Patterns Style
Except the "Pattern Style" you're mentioning (75% gray, etc.) is not
really a pattern. It's just a percentage of black fill. And yes, it is
"a lot of dots". But then so is a 75% black fill. The fact that the
buttons in Excel show big, visible dots has nothing to do with the end
result. With a decent printer, you can print the same 75% black fill in
Excel (using that 75% gray button) or in Indesign (or Quark, or
Illustrator, or Corel Draw, or Word, etc.).

There are pattern fills available on *other* buttons in that dialogue in
Excel that Indesign won't make (without a plug-in), but the
percentage-of-black fills--like "50% gray" or "75% gray"--are easy in ID.

The important part is to understand the difference between a simple
color fill and a pattern fill. You want a simple color fill. Go back and
read Post #2.

You could do that only by importing an image with the pattern into you cell as a background item (which is more than a little fiddly to do because graphics can only live in cells inline to text). Such patterns are not supported by InDesign fills.

PatternMaker (www.teacupsoftware.com) will do a nice job of creating
pattern fills but as Dave says, you'll have a heck of time getting them
to live nicely with the text.

You may have to put the patterns behind the table and size/align
everything very carefully.
