Long-time use of InDesign, new to the forums here.

I had a problem I've never seen before. I have an open type font in my Windows fonts folder - Monotype Consiva.

I had to use this font but it doesn't show up in the list of fonts in InDesign. It shows up ok in Quark (which I had to end up using instead - yuck) and in Word, but not in anything Adobe (including Photoshop and Illustrator).

I tried deleting and re-installing the font, but no luck.

Any ideas why Adobe won't read this open type font?

Thanks!

Using CS3, by the way...

Did you scroll through the list? It shows up under "C" on my system.

This is normal in ID, by the way. Fonts are listed, generally, by family and not by foundry. There are separate groupings at the end of the list for non-Roman faces, and anything that ID can't classify is listed at the very end.
