Apply image to object fill?

I've created a unique shape out of a closed path. I have set the stroke to a specific width and I would like to apply an image file to the fill(as opposed to a solid color or gradient). The idea is to create a container with a custom stroke shape that can serve as a "frame" or container for the image. I'm new to InDesign and I am not having much success accomplishing this. Any Help would be apreciated.

Never mind, after a bit more digging in the man pages i stumbled upon "Paste Into".

Or you can use the Place command after selecting the frame you wish the
image to fill.
