In setting up a numbered list I've run into a problem. If the text of the first character is italic or bold then the number assigned to that item is also italic or bold. For example, let's say there are four items in a list and numbering is 1 through 4, if the second item starts with an italic word then the number 2 is italic. If the other items start with regular text then their associated number is regular text.
How can I get the numbering style to stay as I have it set up in a paragraph style? If I place a space before the first character of the italic text and format this as regular text then the numbering will be regular but I prefer not to do this.
