"Show Import Options" in Place dialog - possible to make checked by default?

Using IDCS4, WinXP Media Center SP3.

When I use the Place command, I am always needing to select the checkbox for "Show Import Options". Is there a way to make this selected by default? I have looked through the Preferences area and cannot find anything related to this. It would help streamline the process.

I don't think so. It is sticky, so you only have to remember to do it once after you launch InDesign.

Generally, you can leave it unchecked, and hold down the shift key as you click OK and the Import Options Dialog should appear.
