Hello!
I'm quite new to InDesign so I might just be missing something very important here, or else something is really hanky!
I have an indesign document (a calendar) that I whish to send to the printer which uses CMYK printers. They tell me the best way to send them the material is by exporting to PDF. No big surprises here. What does surprise me, though is that whatever options I use in the PDF export dialog, Indesign ALWAYS attaches an sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Color profile to the PDF file. I've tried everything (i think) when exporting.
I would like to export the PDF to CMYK color using the Euroscale Coated v2 ICC-profile, but it just doesn't happen. The color workspace is Euro Coated 2, and so are all the images in the calendar (imported as PSD's). I've only got four swatches which are all CMYK Process colors.
What am I doing wrong here. Why does InDesign attach this frickin' sRGB profile to the PDF?
Very many thanks in advance!
